Some sorta like a steamboat marathon, from Saturday evening till Sunday evening, with mahjong games in between eating.
I forgot about taking pictures!!
Anyway, I went to meet Mom and Dad at Tampines Mall on Saturday afternoon to get all the stuff for dinner and had a pair of spectacles made, courtesy of Mom as she and Dad were making new pairs for themselves too. It must've been at least 5 years since I last visited an optometrist to get my eyes checked?
And my myopia has increased from -1.25 in the left eye and -1.50 in the right eye to -1.75 and -2.00 in the course of five years. -__- I hope it doesn't increase anymore. I'm getting sick of wearing contact lenses, I just find that it gets quite bothersome after a while; and with a new baby coming soon in another 4-5 months time, I think having a pair of spectacles near me will be very handy.
Oh, and did I mention everyone's so excited about the baby? Especially Grandma and all my aunts? I heard from Aunt Mui Sian that everyone's very excited cos it's been a few years since there was a baby in the household and to add to the excitement, this baby's great-grandkid to my Grandma; which means there will be four generations at future family gatherings. =) What young great-grandparents and grandparents. ^_^
I've started coming back to work, though not in the early morning. I can't feel well without enough sleep and a lack of sleep causes a great deal of discomfort for me for the rest of the day. I remember the day Dar and I went to ROM to verify our documents, and we had to get up early at 7.30am. I couldn't even finish my breakfast and felt giddy and nauseous throughout the whole day until I could get some rest at home. That's one big minus point of my pregnancy.
I can feel my appetite is getting better, and generally feeling so much better than the first trimester although I'm soon going into the third. =) Aunt Alison says I have a weaker than normal body, that's why. I just hope things get better and I have more energy.
I love mahjong. It's so fun.
