Long time since I last blogged!
I shall not make any New Year resolutions because… I dunno what to expect yet. Baby Number 2 is on the way, and my guess is that she’s arriving soon because I get painful contractions everyday, though not regularly. Those ‘practice’ contractions are rather frequent too, and quite a pain in the ass.
My tummy is huge and really low; I can’t even sit properly! I’m so excited about commencing my maternity leave on 22 Jan but work wise… SIGH!
No one seems bothered enough to do anything. There’s no replacement, no one learning about my work. Seems like no one cares about my role in the company! I play a pretty important role, I believe. Well if no one bothers, why should I? I’ve already brought the subject up a couple of times but if no one’s doing anything, I guess there’s nothing much I can do anyway.
Enough of work.
Roy’s first birthday is coming and I’m so happy and excited about it! We’re going to have dinner together, just a small affair, nothing elaborate or spectacular. Got to save the money for Roy’s baby sister. Speaking of babies, Roy is growing so fast! He’s cruising and walking with support but he’s afraid of shoes. MIL just returned from Shanghai last night with a really cute pair of boots for him. I let him try them on, he cried and I took them off. Today, he got really frightened at the sight of those boots. What a silly boy. I even intend to get him a pair of shoes, a shape-sorting toy and some books as his birthday gift. Gonna bring him out shopping probably this weekend? Hmmm.
Really looking forward to living in our own space. I told Dad that they’ve started with the foundation already and he says it’ll take at most 3 years and we’ll be able to move in.
Feeling hungry now. Roy’s sleeping, hubby’s playing mahjong with the neighbour upstairs and I’m trying to look for interesting games. Time really passes so fast. In the blink of an eye, another year has passed. Soon, Roy will be talking to me in complete sentences; and in a couple of years, maybe make me a card for Mother’s Day.

Look! Roy's growing up so fast, he doesn't look like a baby anymore. Compare with almost a year ago...
