.. to have your little baby fall asleep in your arms, and smile in her sleep?
.. to gaze into your little one's eyes and find her reciprocating your gaze with that peaceful look, seemingly trying to memorize your face?
.. to wake up in the morning to find your toddler looking at you while you were asleep, clutching his favourite pillow and sucking his pacifier, only to spit it out and give you a great big smile when you acknowledge his presence by smiling at him?
.. to pick up your crying baby only to have her calm down immediately when she feels your warmth?
.. to have your toddler crawl over to kiss you early in the morning and then give you a big, toothy grin?
.. to cuddle your little baby to sleep and kiss her head full of soft, downy hair?
.. to watch your toddler, usually screaming and active in the day, sleep peacefully at night?
.. to have your toddler fuss and scream his head off just because you're holding a new baby in your arms instead of him?
.. to have your toddler hold you tight and fall asleep in your warm embrace, refusing to let go, when he's not feeling well?
Exhilarated. That's what unconditional love feels like.
Man, feeling so maternal and all.
Tomorrow, we'll be celebrating Baby Raine's first month since her birth. Coincidentally, it is also St. Valentine's Day tomorrow. What other nicer way to spend it than with your loved ones around you? I don't mind hubby not planning anything special for just the two of us, because with him in my life, every day is like St. Valentine's Day - full of love.
Ooohhh, mushy.
I placed an order for the HP iPaq rw6828 via Starhub's website, hope it arrives soon. So that I can flaunt my PDA phone. Nah. So that hubby can use my N70 and sell his N70 cos it's faulty already.
Why PDA phone? For it's wlan function, actually. I don't need a 3G phone. I need mobile internet. And being a tech-savvy working mom, I need portability to manage my Excel workbooks.. Household use - things like family budget, personal budget, babies' budget yadda yadda yadda.
Have been spending a lot of time shopping online for the last few weeks, and buying quite a number of stuff. From clothes for myself to Carter's baby stuff to the iPaq... Shopping online is really fun.
My last 22 nights consist of waking up twice nightly for Baby Raine's night feedings and sometimes to clean up her night poop. Really looking forward to sleeping through the night again, though that's not gonna happen till at least another 4 or 5 months.
Mom and Dad coming to see me later! Happy!
