Yuckety Yuck!

Went swimming last night with Dar at the Downtown East swimming pool cos I suddenly got the kick to swim and cut some fat.

We played Minesweeper over MSN and he said that if he loses the game, we will not go swimming.

NOT FAIR!!

Because he did not know how to play the game and I was already leading by 6 flags.

Anyway we still went lah, because he loves me.

You say, "??? So what if he loves you??"

Ahhh... Because he loves me and cannot bear to see me unhappy. Actually, the more likely reason is because he cannot stand me pouting at him and pretending to cry. He's always incredibly amused at how good I can pretend to cry loudly like a toddler who just got her lollipop snatched from her.

So we went.

Come to think of it, he beats me at many games and I sometimes wonder if I am stupid. Games like Tic Tac Toe, Checkers, and the Minesweeper game. Yup. We played all these over MSN and he beat me at every single game, hands down.

He has never thought of himself as stupid, yet he constantly worries that I will leave him for someone better. That silly boy. Why would I?

And I have an accusation to make.

Dar is a liar!!

He told me he can't swim to save his life, and that whenever he's at a pool, all he does is "piak, piak, piak" play with the water.

This boy took to water like a duckling, you know, as in the Ugly Duckling? Wahahaha. Just kidding. He ain't ugly, okay?

The first comment he made when he came back from the opposite end of the pool?

"The water damn salty."

I justified the comment for myself and decided that I will never, ever, step into the swimming pool at Downtown East again.

I wonder how the water got to be salty.

Salt treatment?

Children (and/or adults) peeing into the water?

Perspiration?

I dunno, and don't wish to know.

YUCK!!!!

From now on, I will only swim at Changi Sailing Club. It's cleaner and they have hot showers too.
